The second edition of volume 10 of the Revista de Extensão da Universidade de Pernambuco (REUPE) highlights the role of university extension as fundamental for the integration between teaching, research and extension, through actions aimed at generating social impact. This edition of REUPE features articles that demonstrate innovative initiatives, such as the use of digital technologies, pedagogical tools and continuing training programs, highlighting the transformative capacity of extension in communities. The experiences presented cover areas such as health, education and technologies, reinforcing universities' commitment to promoting knowledge through dialogues of knowledge, sometimes demonstrating how the curricularization of extension strengthens the training of critical professionals engaged with contemporary social challenges .
